Abu Dhabi International Airport celebrates the national day of Saudi Arabia

​The flag of Saudi Arabia embellished Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) in celebration of the national day of the Kingdom, marking the close ties between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, especially in the fields of air transport and cargo.

Waleed Salem Al Hemeiri, Acting Deputy Chief Operations Officer at Abu Dhabi Airports, commented: "The United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have enjoyed many years of close, fraternal ties, and it is our pleasure to mark that continued relationship today at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Abu Dhabi has taken extensive steps during the pandemic to ensure the safety of all living in the city, and as the Kingdom recommences international flights, we want to reassure Saudi nationals of their safety in visiting Abu Dhabi.
